NATURA 2000 - Directive Oiseaux - ZPS - Zones de protection spéciale

Zones de protection spéciale désignées dans le cadre de la directive européenne "Oiseaux". Les zones de protection spéciale, instaurées par la directive Oiseaux en 2009 (remplaçant la première directive de 1979), ont pour objectif la protection des espèces européennes d’oiseaux sauvages particulièrement menacées (dont la liste est établie par l'annexe I de la directive Oiseaux) ainsi que des habitats des oiseaux migrateurs dont notamment les zones humides d’importance internationale.

Special areas of conservation Natura 2000 is an ecological network of protected areas in the territory of the European Union. In May 1992, governments of the European Union adopted legislation designed to protect the most seriously threatened habitats and species across Europe. This legislation is called the Habitats Directive and complements the Birds Directive adopted in 1979. FFH - Schutzgebiete Natura 2000 ist die offizielle Bezeichnung für ein kohärentes Netz besonderer Schutzgebiete, das innerhalb der Europäischen Union errichtet wird. Sein Zweck ist der länderübergreifende Schutz gefährdeter wildlebender heimischer Pflanzen- und Tierarten und ihrer natürlichen Lebensräume. Die Natura 2000 Schutzgebiete werden durch die Mitgliedstaaten als „Gebiete von gemeinschaftlicher Bedeutung“ (sites of Community importance, SCI) nach Maßgaben der Richtlinie 92/43/EWG (FFH-Richtlinie) nominiert. Die im Rahmen der Richtlinie 79/409/EWG (Vogelschutzrichtlinie) ausgewiesenen „Schutzgebiete“ (special protection areas, SPA) werden in das Schutzgebietsnetzwerk integriert. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natura_2000
